THE EISTEDDFOD
Arts Projects Australia present a Stuck Pigs Squealing production

One of the most exciting independent theatre companies in the country, Melbourne based Stuck Pigs Squealing returns to B Sharp after the success of The Black Swan of Trespass in 2005.

"This brilliantly executed new drama can only further their reputation as ones to watch." New York Metro Online

This eloquent exploration into the lives of orphaned siblings Abalone and Gerture reveals their innermost fantasies and fears with compelling precision. Battling to win the adulation of the auditorium at the annual Eisteddfod, Abalone is again trying to prove himself the talent his mother believed him to be ' but he can't do it alone.

Chris Kohn's emphatic theatrical visioning and the poetic writing of Lally Katz combine once again in a witty and highly immersive blurring of real and imaginary worlds. The Eisteddfod received the Green Room Award for Best Independent Production in 2004 and has had seasons at PS122 and Richard Foreman's Ontological-Hysteric Theatre in New York.

The Eisteddfod was initially developed in association with The Store Room.
