The Australia Council for the Arts presentED the 8th Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM), timed to co-incide with the Adelaide Fringe and the Adelaide Bank Festival of Arts in February 2008.
APAM is a one-stop opportunity for the world's program-makers to experience the very best in new performing arts from the Australian region. APAM is a chance for artists and companies to connect with presenters and producers and explore new touring opportunities. It is a remarkable showcase of contemporary performing arts reflecting the vibrant cultures, energy, creative diversity and dynamism of the region.
APAM is funded by the Australian Government through the Australia Council and the South Australian Government through Arts SA. It is presented with the support of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Adelaide Festival Centre.
